Dividend & Shares Recovery

    Nigeria’s capital market is holding

    270 billionin unclaimed dividends.

Some of it is likely yours — and however long it has been, it remains yours to recover. We do the tracing, recovery and dematerialisation, dealing with the registrars, CSCS and your bank on your behalf.

SEC-registered · NGX Dealing Member · CSCS participant

A share certificate is proof of ownership — not the ownership itself. However many years have passed, your shares remain yours to recover.

    Why it happens

Shares and dividends go missing for ordinary reasons

It is rarely anyone's fault. Life moves, records fall out of step, and value quietly gets stranded.

    • 01You changed banks, and the dividend had nowhere to land.
    • 02You moved, and the registrar's records fell out of date.
    • 03A paper share certificate was misplaced, damaged, or lost.
    • 04Shares were inherited but never formally transmitted.
    • 05A company merged or changed its name, and the trail went cold.
    • 06An IPO allotment years ago was never fully registered.

    What we do

Four ways we put your shares back in your hands

    01

    Recover unclaimed dividends

    Dividends that never reached you

We trace dividends that were declared but never paid to you, and register an e-dividend mandate so every future payment goes straight to your correct bank account.

    02

    Dematerialise paper certificates

Old certificates you can't yet trade

We convert physical share certificates into electronic holdings in your CSCS account — now required, as the NGX no longer accepts paper certificates for trading, and safer against loss or forgery.

    03

    Consolidate scattered holdings

    Many accounts, one clean statement

If your shares sit across several registrars and stockbroking accounts, we merge them into a single CSCS statement, so you can see and trade everything from one place.

    04

    Probate & share transmission

Shares inherited from a loved one

We guide families through transmitting inherited shares to their rightful beneficiaries, working directly with the registrars and your legal representatives.

    Our track record

    ₦2 billion+

in shares and dividends recovered and dematerialised for our clients to date.

Completed in weeks, not monthsDirect with registrars, CSCS & banksSEC-supervised throughout

    How it works

One mandate. We do the rest.

You give us what you have. We handle the registrars, the paperwork and the follow-up.

    1. 01

      Free search & consultation

Give us a shareholder name and whatever you have — a certificate, a dividend warrant, or just the company. We confirm what's traceable, at no cost and no obligation.

    2. 02

      You sign one mandate

A single track-and-trace mandate authorises us to act with the registrars, CSCS and your bank on your behalf. You don't queue or chase anyone.

    3. 03

      We trace, recover & dematerialise

We pursue the unpaid dividends, convert your certificates to electronic CSCS holdings, and consolidate multiple accounts — keeping you updated at every stage.

    4. 04

Your money and shares, in order

Recovered dividends are paid into your bank, and your holdings sit in one clean CSCS statement — ready to hold, trade, or transfer whenever you choose.

    A note on legitimacy

Know who you are dealing with

"Unclaimed money" is a scammer's favourite line. Here is how you can tell we are the real thing:

    • We are an SEC-registered capital market operator and an NGX Dealing Member. You can verify our registration on sec.gov.ng.
    • Checking whether you have unclaimed dividends is free — and the SEC never charges you to receive your own money. Our fee is for the tracing and paperwork, and it is agreed with you upfront.
    • We will never ask for your bank password, card PIN, or BVN PIN.
    • Your shares stay in your name throughout. We act only on the mandate you sign.

    Questions, answered

What most people ask us first

If you have ever owned shares in a Nigerian company and since changed banks, moved house, or simply lost track, there is a real chance dividends were declared but never reached you. The safest way to find out is a free check — give us the shareholder name and we will trace it.

Yes. Ownership of your shares does not expire. Unclaimed dividends earn no interest and, after six years, are moved to the Unclaimed Funds Trust Fund — but under the Investments and Securities Act 2025 they remain recoverable, and your shares stay yours however long it has been. A certificate is proof of ownership, not the ownership itself.

To begin, a valid means of identification and any share information you have — an old certificate, a dividend warrant, a CSCS statement, or even just the company name. If anything else is required, we will tell you exactly what and help you obtain it.

Dematerialisation converts your physical paper certificates into electronic holdings in your CSCS account. The Nigerian Exchange (NGX) no longer accepts paper certificates for trading, so it is now required before you can sell or transfer shares — and it protects you against loss and forgery.

Checking is free. Where a recovery involves work on our part, our fee is for that tracing and paperwork — never for 'unlocking' money that is already yours — and it is agreed with you in writing before anything begins. Clear steps, clear charges, no hidden costs.

Yes. We handle probate and share transmission, working with the registrars and your legal representatives to transfer inherited shares to the rightful beneficiaries with as little stress as possible for the family.

Yes — and we'd encourage you to start there. The SEC's e-DMMS portal lets you search for unclaimed dividends at no cost. Where we earn our fee is everything after the search: the registrar paperwork, the follow-up, the dematerialisation, the account consolidation — done for you under one mandate, in weeks rather than months of chasing.

Yes. Many of our recovery clients live outside Nigeria. You can sign the mandate remotely, and we act with the registrars, CSCS and your bank on your behalf — you don't need to travel home to get your shares and dividends in order.

All of them. If the company is or was listed on the Nigerian Exchange, we can trace it — whichever registrar holds the records. That includes companies that have since merged, been renamed, or delisted.
