Overview
Nnenna Ukamaka Ofoegbu is an entrepreneur, business leader and social-impact advocate whose experience spans corporate governance, enterprise development, talent management, media production and youth empowerment.
She has been associated with the Board of Transworld Investment & Securities Limited since 2009 and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director. Her longstanding relationship with the Company provides valuable institutional continuity, while her entrepreneurial career brings a market-facing perspective shaped by building businesses, developing talent and managing relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
Enterprise & Creative Work
Nnenna is the Founder and Managing Director of Pillars & Pride of Afrika, a model and talent management company through which she has helped identify, develop and connect African creative talent with commercial opportunities. Her work in the creative economy has given her practical experience in enterprise building, brand development, project execution, partnership management and the commercialisation of human talent.
She was also the Executive Producer of Queen Varsity Afrika, a pioneering educational and empowerment television programme created to showcase the intelligence, potential and leadership capabilities of young African women. The 13-episode programme brought together 17 undergraduates and recent graduates from 13 tertiary institutions across Nigeria and the Republic of Benin. Beyond entertainment, the initiative provided participants with mentoring and development opportunities covering entrepreneurship, technology, self-esteem, citizenship and other essential life skills.
Throughout her career, Nnenna has demonstrated a strong commitment to creating platforms through which young people — particularly women — can develop their capabilities, access opportunities and participate more confidently in business and society.
Education
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations from Igbinedion University, Okada.
